On some cans, the NY Fat and Pink dot are super similar. The spray pattern is close to identical and the output is similar. The NY Fat being slightly lower output than the Pink Dot. On something like a Burner Chrome, however, the Pink Dot sprays much fatter than the NY does. Both are solid, so it’ll come down to personal preference.

Wanted to take a look at the pink dot and the New York fat side by side. They always felt super similar to me, but I never really compared them directly. In this comparison, I'm finding them to be super similar, almost interchangeable. The New York fat has a slightly lower output, so good for conserving paint, slightly thinner lines. Pink Dot has a slightly higher output, probably better for fills, for bombing and things like that on Silvers like the burner Chrome, I found the pink dot was considerably fatter than the New York fat, though.
