The Night Quill was originally designed for people with injuries to make spraying easier. Putting these on the can drastically reduces the amount of pressure required to get the can to spray. That said, even if you don’t have injuries, it’s a great tool as it gives you far more control over the output of the can.
It comes in soft, medium and hard touch options. I don’t have injuries and personally like the amount of control the hard touch provides. If you’re looking for something that makes it easiest to spray, the soft touch is a great option.

This is the night quill. They have them in soft, medium and hard touch. I personally find the hard touch to be a little more controllable. In terms of being able to let out a small amount of paint. I'm using a pink.to fill in, but when I'm going around the edges, I'm able to get really thin lines, which obviously you can do that without this. But it's easier with this, because it has a lever effect. So you can just push it down a small amount and get a nice, clean, thin line, even with a high output cap, like a pink dot. These were originally designed for people with injuries or arthritis in their hands, so it allows them to spray easier. For people that don't have that it's just more comfortable. I think I will probably use these more often, especially when filling in, just to kind of give my finger a little bit of a rest, so that when I get to the fun stuff, like I'm not tired and shit. So overall, if you have injuries or anything, or if you find your hand gets tired really easily, definitely try these. If you do like to control the output of the can so you can get thinner lines. This is definitely worth looking at.
