There’s so much noise online that it’s easy to forget there are real people on the other side of the screen.
I was thinking about that today.
Some of you have been with me since the early Machine days. Some of you just found us last week. Some buy from us all the time, some just read these and keep it moving.
All of that means a lot to me.
When I started this thing, I was just a graff writer with a loose idea and a shop with no heat, no shower, and four dogs. There was no email list, no real plan, just a vision to do something positive for the culture.
Now I get to sit down, type out a few thoughts that helped me, and they land in thousands of inboxes.
You could be scrolling past this, deleting it, or unsubscribing. Instead, you’re here reading. Maybe you’ve grabbed supplies from us, shared a post, told a friend, or just taken one of these messages and applied it to your own life.
That support is not something I take lightly.
So this one’s just a simple message today: thank you for being here, for real. I’m grateful for you.

Just found you a few days ago, oddly and surprisingly…. While searching for a gift for a homie who happens to be probably the most amazing artist I know (not an indirect shot at you or anything like that 🤣🤦🏼♂️). Simple search of “gift for graffiti artist” led me to you directly for unique and quality items I had not come across. Specifically…the small cans!! So fuckin cool!!
Anyhow, above you mention how its easy to forget heyre’s a real person on the other side of the screen….and I was amazed that when I placed my order…I got a personal message confirming our shipping address. Personal touch and attention to detail is everything in business….and you demonstrated that amazingly sir!!
I am so excited to tell my friends about your stuff and also can’t wait to hear the lashings I get for being unfamiliar with your work hahaaa!!

Im your everyday person. Ironworker and full time dad who always follow the graffiti cultures even back in the day when you had to buy magazines to look at graffiti because I’m from a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania on the outer Ridges of the Appalachian Mountains called Shamokin or Coal Township(literally a walk across the street separates it) its small town is what you make of it. So anyhow I’ve always been into art and graffiti writing but never had the access to somebody who knew how to do all that stuff but I kind of knew already because of my art background so I kind of was self-taught and then would always be interested looking at it and writing my name everywhere and I still do today even as an iron worker I write my tag everywhere my hand style it’s a simple one it’s only four letters but still it’s still fun to me and exhilarating even people who don’t know that I do it they’re always like to see that BASE he’s always everywhere on every job site or if he ain’t he’s been there in that porta potty. So me being a 40-year-old toy going on 43 I just like to fucking grin to myself and kind of chuckle because it’s always these young kids that are saying it and they have no idea that it’s this old man doing it and I just get a kick out of it and I think that’s why I continue to always read your emails that you send because I’m not one of them guys that just scroll past and or unsubscribe. I mean I’ve even learned a lot from you believe it or not and talking about your experiences even on your podcast on Spotify so no I appreciate you BUS and your and your crew. So I always got your back on your vision man
