While we’re on the topic of making progress, another thing that can trip us up is being too focused on the outcome. There’s often a lot of time between where we are and where we’re going. If we’re looking so far ahead, it can be frustrating seeing where we currently are.

One of the many things Alex Hormozi said that stuck with me is the idea of making the work the goal. If we already know roughly where we want to go, what work is required to get us there? If we know the work that is required, that’s the goal. Doing that work every day.
