Something I’ve stopped saying in recent years is “I’m trying.” The problem with trying is we often give ourselves an out. I was reminded of this yesterday by a video from Tim Grover. Rather than saying “I’m trying,” go with “I’m doing it.”

It might seem like a subtle change, but it’s powerful. Just because you may not be succeeding yet, you’re still doing it. Trying to learn a skill, trying to build a business, trying to have a better relationship leaves too much wiggle room.

If you’re doing what’s required, you’re doing. Not trying.

If people just learned to open their eyes and their eyes it would be so clear 🫶🏻

Two things:
Do or do not. There is no try. Also I’ve stopped saying I can’t do that. Now I say I haven’t done that yet.
