I’ve been revisiting the book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. There’s a lot of good stuff in there. We all have things we want to change about ourselves, and it’s easy to get into the mindset of “this is just the way I am,” but we can change a lot more than we might think.

A lot of these things are habits we’ve formed; those habits then form beliefs about who we are. To change who we are, we have to break the habits that make us who we don’t want to be.

The book goes into specifics on how to do that. It’s worth a read if there are things you want to change.
