This fast and dirty style was inspired by Wabi Sabi. If you're not familiar with this, it's worth looking up.
"Nothing is perfect, nothing is finished, nothing lasts."
I find that embracing imperfections madde graffiti more fun for me since it took a lot of the pressure off. Things happen as they happen.
For this, I used MTN Hardcore and one Pro Cap.

We're gonna do fast and dirty bevels. So once you have your sketch, you're gonna connect to these corners. Then once the corners are connected, you're gonna do the center line. Then a lot of the texture comes from how you fill. So we're gonna fill it almost like a dusty fill or ghost fill, except for the angle of the lines are gonna be dictated by sort of angles of your bevels. So hopefully that makes sense when you see the lights all filled in. Now we're gonna fill in the darks. When we fill in the darks, we're gonna do the same sort of angle, but in the opposite direction. I find it gives it a little bit of depth and it kind of gives it some intention. So it's not just sloppy for the sake of being sloppy. Then with the outline, I'm gonna still keep this kind of loose. I'm doing this all with a pro cap and putting in some cracks and stuff like that. For the highlights, I'm trying to barely push the tip down so that it gets a sputtery sort of look to it. I want the edges to look like they're kind of beat up. Then we'll add a little bit of a glowing type of shit. I know this was really fast, but if you want to see a full detailed video of this, check out our YouTube channel at machine studio. The video is up there. Thank you.
