Mixing Steve Garvey Stainer in a Drip Machine

Tried mixing Steve Garvey stainer with a black Drip Machine. It definitely adds some nice staining, but the Drip Machine paint isn’t really compatible with the Garvey, so it thickened up a bit. It still worked, but after a while, it’s hard to get drips.

Wanted to do a little live experiment with the drip machine and Steve Garvey. The first tag is just the raw drip machine. It doesn't have any inherent staining properties. So I added a little bit of Garvey, and the second tag seemed about the same in terms of viscosity, but the test at the end will be to see the staining properties. So then I added a little more viscosity. Seemed to thicken a little bit, and then added a little bit more Garvey. At this point, the mop is probably about 50% Garvey, 50% drip machine paint, and it's definitely getting thicker. But once I did the buff test, you can see, the more Garvey that I added, the more staining property, which is what it's made for. So it definitely has nice staining. And then I left the marker sitting about 20 minutes, and it definitely seemed to thicken up a little bit. So if anybody wants to chime in and let me know if there's a way to thin this out, or if this is just not something we should be mixing together, let me know it's.
