Pete Rose Graffiti Ink Stainer!

Tested out the Pete Rose stainer. To start, I just used it straight to see how it looked. It’s a pretty cool burgundy color—it was a bit streaky, but that could have been the surface. That said, I really like the raw look of it even with the streaks.

After that, I added some Devastator Red to see how that would do, but it looks about the same. It’s possible I didn’t saturate the nib enough to get a good mix, but not sure.

As far as staining goes, it looks like it works quite well. I painted over it with three coats of Rusto Aqua which is a pretty thick color and it kept bleeding. I think the Garvey bleeds more, but that is to be expected with a violet. That shit is gnarly.

All right, let's try out this Pete Rose. It's a stainer by art Primo. I filled up an empty Devastator machine, caught a few tags. I really like the look of the ink. It's got a burgundy look to it. And I think I actually like the streaks. I don't know if the streaks are in there, because the surface is all fucked up, but I think it looks pretty cool. Also mixed a little Devastator machine red in there after this. So this tag up here is Devastator machine red. I don't know if I didn't saturate the nib enough, because it doesn't really look that much different, but that might be my fault. So then I buffed it with some aqua by fucking rusto 2x it's it's a really thick color, so I thought maybe it would be good. I understand that roller paint is better, but whatever. So first coat bled through, pretty nice. Second coat still bleeding through, and then on the third coat, you still see it. I'm gonna end there, because I got shit to do. But you know, I don't know. Try it. It's good stuff.
