There’s a simple idea I keep coming back to:
If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
This hits everything from work to personal life. If the job is to sweep the floor, answer emails, pack orders, or take out the trash, it’s still the job. If it’s worth your time at all, why not do it right?
Our time is the most valuable thing we have. If we’re going to spend it on something, we might as well give it a real effort instead of halfway.
Maybe today, pick one thing you normally rush through and see what happens if you slow down and do it well.
