I just heard about something called National Quitters Day. It’s on January 9 and it marks around the time most people give up on their goals for the year. Some say it’s around 80%.

What’s always been weird to me is how we put arbitrary timelines on this stuff.
“I’ll get started in 2026.”
“I’ll start on Monday.”
“This week started bad, so I’ll get back on it next week.”

I used to do this all the time.

If we fall off track on our goals for the year, do we really wait until next year and hope it goes differently? There’s always time to get back on track, especially this early in the year.

I know I’m not 100% on everything I have planned for this year, but there’s no reason to sink into complacency. Just get back on track.

A rule of thumb I like when things don’t go well is: never miss two in a row.

Whatever it is, if you miss one, don’t miss the next one. It doesn’t give you a pass to miss a bunch as long as you don’t miss two, but it does help you get your momentum back.

It’s gonna be a great year.

You would think more people would have this concept well understood yet we all know common sense is far from common. Sadly we see screens filling in the role of someone to look up to so any actual wisdom or intellect or positive vibes should be commended. Another thing I see people not realizing it’s true value is that if Trust. Trust is worth more than any amount of riches and to break trust is truly a crime of one’s soul. Trust can be regained but its value will forever be tarnished. Strive to be a person of your word and acknowledge the value in every word spoken, there is great power in what you speak.

I wanna start off by saying thank you so much for these messages . Your time is not going wasted and I really appreciate you for doing this . All
Of your advice is solid and it really does mean something … especially to those that didn’t really have a father figure or somebody rooting for them and that had support and encouraging words
