I’ve been thinking about how personal excellence doesn’t just affect us. It affects the people around us too.
No matter where you are in life, someone is looking at you to see what’s possible. It might be a younger sibling, a friend, your kids, or someone you don’t even know who follows your work.
They’re paying attention to how you move.
When you take care of your health, show up consistently, do good work, and raise your own standards, it gives other people quiet permission to do the same. You don’t have to preach to them. You just have to live it.
Personal excellence can spread. When one person around you levels up, it’s like the tide rising and lifting all the boats nearby, even if they weren’t planning on moving.
