A lot of the time, the negative experiences in life end up creating the most positive outcomes. I’m sure you’ve heard stories or experienced this yourself: a failed relationship pushes someone to focus on bettering themselves, getting in shape, developing a more positive mindset, then they end up in a far better relationship. Losing a job can trigger the same self-development and lead to a much better situation.

At the time, these things feel horrible, but later on we often find those seemingly negative experiences were exactly what we needed to get to a better spot. There’s a universal law called the Law of Polarity that applies here: you can’t have positive without negative, light without dark. Pair that with the Law of Cause and Effect, and it really comes together.

The negative experiences can cause us to take action; that action causes a positive effect. The key is to use those experiences as lessons and fuel that moves you forward. Otherwise, we just get beat down and make no progress.
