Over the weekend, I had this fancy thing I had to go to, so I busted out the suit jacket I have for these things. As soon as I put it on, it confirmed I was off track. It fit just well enough to work, but was definitely not the perfect fit it used to be.

First thought was, “I gotta get my shit together and lose a few.” The thing is, when I’m off track in one area, I’m usually off track in others. It got me thinking about this little program I put together to get back on track called The Re8uild. It’s 8 weeks of the following:

• 10 minutes of meditation
• 10 pages of reading
• 30 minutes of exercise
• Follow a strict diet
• Power List of 5 critical tasks

Looking at it made me realize I was off track in all of these areas except the Power List. Not totally off track, but not as consistent as I’d like. These tasks are things that I’ve found helpful, and when I’m on track with them, other things seem to be on track too.

If you’re in a rut, maybe this will help. I’m starting tomorrow.
